Complimentary Consultation:  A thorough health history will be taken by the doctor to start to understand your condition.  It is in this consultation that you may discuss any health issues that you would like to correct.  Dr. Engel will then give you her recommendations on how to proceed with your care.

 

Examination:  The doctor will examine the area(s) of complaint by testing ranges of motion, strength, posture, gait and coordination with non-invasive techniques.

 

X-rays:  Depending on your condition, x-rays may be necessary.  These allow the doctor to view the structure of your spine, as well as analyze any postural alterations and/or degeneration in your spine.

 

Treatment:  After gathering all pertinent history and examination information, treatment will be administered to initiate the healing process.  This usually consists of manual therapy to your affected
area(s) and a chiropractic adjustment. 

 

Report of Findings:  Typically on your second visit to the office the doctor will review your x-rays with you.  During this report the doctor will also share with you various treatment options and an estimated schedule of your care.
